Root 1699 Return and Exchange Policy
Change of Mind Returns:
At Root 1699, we understand that sometimes you may change your mind about a purchase. No worries! You can return items in their original condition—unworn, unwashed, with all tags attached, and free from signs of wear such as makeup, deodorant stains, perfumes, pet hair, or cigarette smell. To initiate a return, simply use our return portal and include the packing slip for faster processing. You have two options for shipping: purchase a label at your local post office. However, if you opt for a refund as e-gift card(which you can use to purchase from our website), we'll cover the return shipping cost. Just make sure to drop off the package at the post office within 5 days of receipt. Please note that all returns undergo inspection, and we reserve the right to refuse items that don’t meet our standards. Items from our special sale events and gift cards are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
Return Exceptions:
Certain items, such as those from our special sale events and gift cards, any custom orders are non-refundable & returnable.However, items purchased during regular promotions are returnable, but only for store credit.
Exchanges:
We do not offer direct exchanges. However, you can return an item for a store credit and then place a new order for the desired item. This ensures you get exactly what you want without delay. We're here to assist with the return process or with placing your new order.
Order Issues:
Encountered an issue like a damaged or wrong item? Reach out to us within 72 hours with pictures, and we'll help resolve it with a replacement or a refund, either as store credit or back to your original payment method. Please note that colour variations due to screen or lighting aren't considered damage.

- Submit the return request (Between 14 Days of receiving the order).
If your return is approved and requires shipping, you’ll receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label(if you opt for e-gift card refund). Once we receive the returned product, you'll be issued a refund. Yes, we can refund to your original payment method but keep in mind that with this option we are not able to provide our free return service. You have to send the parcel back to us on your own expense.
Refund Process:
Refunds are processed within three days of receiving your returned item. We offer refunds to your original payment method (usually takes 7-14 days and can depend on your bank)or as instent store credit (issued as an e-Gift Card) same day. Please note that shipping fees and handling surcharges are non-refundable. For items bought during special promotions, refunds are available only as store credit(e-gift card). We have No-Refund policy for any customised order.
